The FIM Superbike World Championship, usually called WorldSBK, is the leading international championship for production-based superbikes. Its racing motorcycles are developed from road-going models within competition regulations. Riders and manufacturers compete across an international calendar, with each circuit placing different demands on the machines and their setup.

A WorldSBK round combines practice, Superpole qualifying and multiple races. Superpole determines qualifying positions, while the Superpole Race is a separate short race alongside Race 1 and Race 2. These sessions have different roles, and each round's timetable shows when the premier-class action takes place.

The weekend gives riders several opportunities to adapt their approach and compete for results. A change in setup, tyre choice or track conditions can alter the balance between races. Following the same riders across all three races provides more context than treating the first result as the complete story.
